Original Painting – “Mop’s Gift”

Description

An original one-of-a-kind painting. Acrylic on wood panel from 2019. Created for and shown at Rodney’s 2020 exhibition “Something to Look Forward To” at Hudson Hall in Hudson NY. 19 inches high, 28.5 inches wide, 1.25 inches deep. Panel sides are bright pink.

Statement about “Mop’s Gift” from Rodney:

“It’s a mysterious painting of a very unusual being with four eyes. Mop stands next to an equally mysterious rectangular box that shows a series of symbols that display a mysterious message. I thought it would be fun to contrast the sharp rectangular box with the soft glowing shape of Mop. The colors are a bright as I could possibly make them.”
