“Birth of Fruit” large painting acrylic on canvas 50 x 42 inches, completed in 2005. Canvas edges are painted dark umber, and most of the white areas within the painting glow in the dark.

Colorful abstract forms seem to play and move in this bold painting. A story is implied by the title which is often the case in Rodney’s paintings. Mostly this work is endlessly decorative and is meant to bring visual delight to viewers.
