Description
Hiding in a box were four copies of the original 2002 music CD “Let’s Audio” by myself and musician/artist Abbie Denson. I made an edition of these printing the artwork with an inkjet printer, and even printing on a sticker that covered the front of the CD-R. This is a very rare item. I probably originally made about 20. You can listen to the Let’s Audio on streaming services like Apple Music. The cover is hand signed “Rodney 2009” probably for another website sale. The jewel cases are in excellent condition and are individually wrapped in a plastic envelope.
Abbie and I were friends both living in NYC during to September 11th 2001 World Trade Center disaster. Out of the malaise of the 9/11 aftermath we decided to make a fun punk/pop/indie album. At the time Abbie was a member of popular NYC all girl punk band “Mz.Pakman”. She played electric guitar and co-wrote their fun songs. Our desire to make “Let’s Audio” was therapeutic as well as fun. It was recorded at my loft in Soho on my 1980’s Tascam 38 1/2 inch reel to reel. I programed the drums, played synthesizer and co-wrote the songs. Abbie sang, played guitar and co-wrote the songs.
The great cover photo of Abbie and myself (with my Casio keytar) was made by long-time friend and famous photographer John Dolan.
The music website Broadjam.com accurately describes our album this way:

Devo, The Ramones, They Might Be Giants, Polysics, Shonen Knife, The Kinks, The Cars, and many more!
